Kyneton railway station is located on the Bendigo line in Victoria, Australia. It serves the town of Kyneton opening on 25 April 1862.〔(Kyneton ) Vicsig〕 The station was upgraded as part of the Regional Fast Rail project, with the platform re-aligned, the manual interlocking frame and railway crossing gates decommissioned, and new remote controlled computer based signalling provided. The station is the terminus of some peak hour V/Line commuter services, and sidings at the station are used to stable trains.
